The high graphic red and white quilt is one of those "gallopping horse" quilts. if you were gallopping by on a horse you would notice it. At some point it was not washed well and there are yellowing tide marks on the back, but the front is nice and bright. The piecing is good but not precise -- but that makes this little quilt really dance.$450 plus $15 shipping.
The scallopped edges could use a new binding. Otherwise, the fabric is intact. The quilting is decent and there is a life pattern quilted into the center of each circle.
This is a great Christmas quilt to hang or drape over a bench in the front hall for the holidays.

Patriotic Duvet Cover
This duvet cover with embroidery on a heavy white fabric (we haven't tested to check if it is a heavy cotton or a linen) is a great combination of classic redwork (see detail photos) and a wonderful patriotic center motif. Most likely from around the 1920's. The redwork at the edges show some wear but the stitching is intact and the center medallion is in great shape. A wonderful addition to a patriotic linens collection. $150 plus $12 shipping.

As always, these are sold with our full, money back guarantee -- if you buy it, we will ship the quilt via Fed Ex ground (if you want overnight or two-day shipping you will be charged actual cost). Once it arrives you have three days to inspect the quilt. If you decide to return it, you need to call us during that three day period to let us know you plan to return it and why. We will give you return shipping instructions. You will pay shipping and return shipping, so please ask any questions you have when you call. The quilt must be returned in the same condition as when it arrives. In other words, you can't wash it, try any stain removal (on the tide marks) etc. and then decide. It's only fair. We have tried to describe as carefully as we can the current condition of the quilts. We think the prices are fair based on design, condition and workmanship.
